The weekend of the 20th of October 2023 was the international Jamboree On the Internet (JOTI) and Jamboree on the Airwaves (JOTA) event. Where Scouts come together across the world, and communicate with each other.
Overall we had about 30 Scouts attend from 3 different groups (18th, 20th & 70th).
All the Scouts got to have a go at speaking with Scouts from across the World and to try both internet & radio communications, as well as some morse code! Even the Adult Volunteers got to have a go!
As always we are grateful for the Adult Volunteers who make events like this one happen.
ADC Scouts (Arran and Stephen) are already thinking about how we can do it bigger & better next year.
