Angela Theabould

Her journey began as a parent helper at the 20th Bradford South (Low Moor) and progressed through various roles, including Group Scout Leader at the 20th and Training Manager for the District.
Jaime Armitage
District Programme LeadJaime brings a wealth of experience to the table, having been a dedicated member of the Scouting community since 2015. She has covered many roles, from sectional lead to being part of the leadership team for one of the World Scout Jamboree Units from West Yorkshire Scouts.
Michael Holroyd
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – SquirrelsMichael’s Scout journey began way back at the age of 6 when he joined the 11th Spen Valley as a Beaver he has held and Adult Volunteer role in Spen Valley Scouts since he was 18, rocking various roles! Right now, he’s the Group Lead Volunteer at 11th Spen Valley and Assistant District Lead Volunteer for Squirrels in both Bradford South district and Spen Valley district. You’ll also find him leading the troop as the Scout Leader at the 68th Wyke. But wait, there’s more! When he’s not camping or tying knots, Michael works as the Technical Director at Core Team One, an IT Security Company. He’s also the tech whiz behind the scenes, helping out with websites, social media, and IT advice for both Spen Valley and Bradford South Scout districts.
Nichola Walker
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – BeaversNichola has been involved in Scouting since 2014, and currently holds the role of Beaver Team Leader at 65th Bradford South. Her district role as Assistant District Lead Volunteer (Beavers) is to support the Beaver Leaders and Colony’s throughout the district.
Kevin Horner
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – CubsKevin has been involved in Scouting since 2012, and currently holds the role of Cub Team Leader at 65th Bradford South. His district role as Assistant District Lead Volunteer (Cubs) is to support the Cub Leaders and Pack’s throughout the district. Kevin also sits on the district Trustee Board.
Arran Neale / Stephen Dunwell
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – ScoutsArran & Stephen both hold roles as Scout Leaders within Bradford South, and as part of the district programme team their role is to jointly support the Scout Leaders and Scout Troops throughout Bradford South

14-24 Team LeaderRichard heads up up our 14-24 year old provision, (Explorers/Network & Young Leaders) as well as holding a district role Richard is the Explorer Leader for Low Moor Explorers
Stephen Rawlinson
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – SupportStephen heads up the support team in Bradford South, this encompasses the Media Team and Adult Support Team. Stephen has been involved in Scouting within Bradford South and North since 2017, with various roles, as well as a County role of ACC Inclusion.
Janine Elie-Smith
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – Adult SupportJanine’s has been involved in Scouting since 2013, after holding multiple roles at a group level Janine now works with the rest of the district team to provide support to the Adult Volunteers.
Anthony Lander
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – Media & CommunicationsAnthony has been involved in Scouting since 2010, and has held several group roles, and now Anthony’s role is provide the rest of the district volunteers with the information needed, and to publicise Scouting in Bradford Scouth to the rest of the country/world through Social Media and the Internet.
Phil Chadwick
Assistant District Lead Volunteer – GlobalPhil has been involved in Scouting since 1999 primarily at 68th Wyke where he currently holds the role of Cub Team Leader and Deputy Group Lead Volunteer. Phil is also Group Lead Volunteer at 70th Woodside. His district role role is to provide help and support to the Bradford South Volunteers who are wishing to take their young people on global visits after arranging and participating in several himself. Phil also sits on the District Trustee Board.

Her role in Bradford South is to ensure all Adult Volunteers are maintaining the correct standard of Adult Learning, and to support new volunteers through the first few months of their role. Angela also sits on the District Trustee Board.
Ian Lund
District Nights Away AdvisorIan has been involved in Scouting since 1966, he has held the role of Group Lead Volunteer at 36th Wibsey since 2007, and is currently the district nights away advisor for Bradford South. His role is to ensure all Young people have the opportunity to take part in a safe nights away experience whilst being a member. He will speak to Adults who are looking to obtain a Nights Away Permit to ensure they are suitable to take Young People Away.
