Squirrels from our Wibsey Scout Group had a visit from some local heroes from West Yorkshire Police – Bradford South. They learnt all about how the Police can help them if they get lost, or need help, and the officers explained their roles. The Squirrels got to try on Police hats and found out how heavy their hi-vis vests are!
They even got to sit in the back of a marked police car, saw the flashing blue lights, and heard the siren. They really enjoyed that part of the night!
The general consensus was that they were lots of future Police officers present! Hopefully no bad guys! 
We’d like to say a huge “Thank You” to the officers who came along to spend the evening with the Squirrels.
