Over the weekend of Friday the 7th of June to Sunday the 9th of June, Beavers from 20th Bradford South Scout Group and Buttershaw Scout Group – Bradford South attended the County Super-heroes Camp.
Friday evening was spent playing wide games and attending a campfire.
On the Saturday, the camp was divided into 4 areas, Gotham, Asgard, Atlantis and Metropolis each with a distinct theme to the activities.
The Beavers loved getting wet in Atlantis, doing a wet assault course, panning for gold and having a ride on the Cresta run. In other areas there was the cave bus, nightline, climbing wall, dodgem cars, soft archery and tomahawks, 2 inflatables and lots more. They even had a go cooking on a fire, melting chocolate into a banana.
The beavers had so much fun and worked well together, going home exhausted! Thank you to West Yorkshire Scouts for putting on such a great event!
