Huge congratulations to our incredible 68th Bradford Scouts who tackled the Aire Valley Scouts Baht ‘At Walk today conquering a staggering 20 kilometers!
This wasn’t your average walk!
Starting and finishing at Bingley Scout HQ, our intrepid young adventurers embarked on a journey that explored the heart of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. The route weaved through charming villages like Cullingworth and Harden, offering stunning vistas as they tackled gradual inclines. They then skirted the outskirts of Blackhills Campsite, adding a touch of wilderness to their adventure. And for a truly unique experience, they even traversed the manicured fairways of Keighley Golf Course – a feat requiring both skill and focus! ⛳️
This was a particularly significant challenge for many of these scouts. Notably, the majority of the troop were our younger members, some who had only just moved up from Cubs! Witnessing their unwavering determination and teamwork as they conquered this incredible distance was a true testament to their Scouting spirit.
Congratulations once again to our amazing scouts! You’ve shown what true Scouting spirit is all about!
